How To Get There?
The Helsinki Boat-Afloat Show is to be held 19-22.8.2010 at the HSK Yacht Club marina in the vicinity of the city's west guest harbour. The street address is Vattuniemen puistotie 1, Lauttasaari (see co-ordinates C4 on page 19 of the Fonecta telephone catalogue).
The show can be accessed easily from the centre of Helsinki by taking city bus 65A, 66A or bus 21V. Visitors from a westerly direction (i.e. from Espoo) can easily get to the show by hopping onto most of the city-bound buses and getting off at the Lauttasaari bridge.
Bus transportation to the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday free of charge. The buses leave from Kiasma on Saturday every 20 minutes and on Sunday every half an hour starting at 9.30. Buses back to the city centre from Lauttasaari on saturday at 11.00-18.00 and on sunday at 10.30-18.00. The bus is free-of-charge.
There is a parking area to the south of the show area, where parking costs 4 euro. The parking area is run by sea scouts "Vikingarna".

Saturday 21.8. and Sunday 22.8. from 10.00 to 18.00 hrs

Adults 12 EUR
Children 7-16 years 3 EUR
Children below 7 in the company of their parents are admitted free.
Dogs are also welcome to the boat show, but they must be kept on lead at all time.
It is forbidden to take baby carriages to the exhibition jetties. There is a guarded parking place for carriages in the show area.
Arriving to the boat show by own boat is unfortunately not possible as all the boat berths are reserved for the boat show. |
