As a result of the program, consumers will be offered better boats and services. The boat program utilized the expertise and cooperation of companies, subcontractors, research institutes and universities in the field. VTT co-ordinated the program with the Finnish Boat Federation, Finnboat.<\/p><p>The program funded 44 business projects and 31 research projects.
